When you create an account, we collect your email address for authentication purposes. When you create countdown events, we store the event title, target date, and selected background image URL. We do not collect any additional personal information.
2. How We Use Your Data
Your data is used solely to provide and improve the Horizon countdown service. Your email is used for authentication. Your event data is stored so your countdowns persist across sessions and devices. We never sell or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes.
3. Data Storage
All data is stored securely in Supabase, a managed database and authentication platform. Your data is encrypted at rest and in transit. You can request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time by contacting us.
4. Cookies
Horizon uses essential cookies for authentication sessions via Supabase. These cookies are necessary for the app to function and cannot be disabled. We do not use tracking cookies or third-party analytics cookies.
5. Third-Party Services
Horizon is hosted on Vercel. Your data passes through Vercel's infrastructure for serving the application. Background images are loaded from Unsplash and stored as URLs. No image data is processed or stored on our servers beyond the image URL reference.
6. Data Retention and Deletion
We retain your data for as long as your account is active. You may delete your account and all associated event data at any time. Upon account deletion, all personal data is permanently removed from our systems.
